What this website keeps track of

In plain words: what this website notes, and what it doesn't. It covers the website only. What you tell us on a call, on WhatsApp or at the clinic stays between you and the clinic.

When you tap Call or WhatsApp

When you tap one of our Call or WhatsApp buttons, the website makes a short note that a tap happened. The note says:

  • which button you tapped, and the date (not the time)
  • which part of the site you were on, in general terms only, such as "treatments" or "contact". It never says which treatment page.
  • how you found the website, for example Google, Instagram, Practo, or that you typed our address yourself, and roughly when you first found us (the week, not the day)
  • the country you're browsing from, worked out from the network. Not your town, and not your exact location.

It doesn't hold your name, your phone number, your message or your IP address. We use these notes to understand which ways of finding us actually lead to people getting in touch.

The short code in your WhatsApp message

When you tap a WhatsApp button, a short code such as "Ref: K7PQ2M" is added to the end of your message. It lets us match your message to the note above, so we know it came from the website. You're welcome to delete it before you send. Your message will reach us just the same.

How long we keep it

Each note deletes itself after 90 days. If you'd like yours removed sooner, send us the code from your WhatsApp message and we'll delete it. A tap on Call leaves no code, so we can't pick out one call note, but it deletes itself on the same 90-day clock.

What your browser keeps

To credit a tap to the right place, your browser keeps a small note of how you found the website: on your first visit, on your first visit that didn't start with typing our address, and on your most recent one like that. For example "Google" or "Practo". It stays in your browser, is only sent to us along with a tap, and is ignored once it's more than 90 days old. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

We use Meta's pixel to see whether our posts and ads bring people to the website. It runs only on five general pages: the home page, About, the guides list, Contact and Team. It doesn't run on any page about a treatment, on the guides themselves, on the assessment pages, or when the page address carries anything extra at the end. Where it does run, Meta learns that the page was visited and whether someone tapped Call or WhatsApp, and it uses Meta's own cookies. If you're logged in to Facebook or Instagram in the same browser, Meta may connect the visit to your account.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare hosts this website, so like any web host its systems handle every page request in order to deliver the page. Separately, Cloudflare's website analytics counts visits, without cookies, on the same five general pages and under the same rules as Meta. The pages about treatments are left out of Cloudflare's website analytics.

The map on our Contact page

The map on the Contact page is loaded from Google Maps. Google can see that the map was opened from our website, but not which page you came from.

The assessment pages

Your answers on the self-assessment and smile-assessment pages stay in your browser. They reach the clinic only if you choose to send them on WhatsApp. They aren't saved on this website.

If you'd rather not be tracked

If your browser sends a "Global Privacy Control" or "Do Not Track" signal, this website doesn't load Meta's pixel, doesn't make any of the notes above, and Cloudflare's analytics doesn't count your visit. The buttons still work as usual.

What we don't do

We don't use Google Analytics or Google's ad tags. We don't sell any of this. Our own notes are never shared with Meta, Google or any advertiser. The code in your WhatsApp message travels inside the message like any other text, and means nothing without our notes.
